Robert’s third visit to Fresno.
Robert, though several years younger, has mannerisms and a voice similar to Jesse Watters. He understands our modern political landscape better than many of the old guard.
Recently, he was the pool reporter on Air Force Two while in Germany.
He has filed a front-page story while here in Fresno.
Trump claims victory, even though he has lost the House. I guess maintaining control of the Senate and gaining a few governorships is a partial win.
What is our purpose for conducting elections? We have a republic, with representatives chosen by the people, for the people, and elections are seemingly the best way to do that. We “elect” these people. We vote. But, what does it truly mean to vote, to choose from amongst ourselves someone who speaks for many?
For what it is worth, I consider voting to be fun and nothing more. It is meaningless in the grand scheme and could be improved, but no one is willing to listen, so nothing will change. That is all.
The TBC event in Sacramento was a great success and the paddlewheel room was nearly filled to capacity. I was the only person to come from the Fresno/Merced counties and that made it interesting. Love riding the train from Merced and the return home was longer than the trip North. Not sure why, though I suspect there was additional freight traffic on the rails at the later hour. These pictures are just a few of many that I took.
