As 2020 nears a conclusion, I checked my box and inside was one final postcard from abroad. How exciting! It came from Brisbane, Australia and I love the pictures.

This year was remarkably stupid and full of rejected ideas and nonsense. I am hoping for a better year in 2021, but at least hindsight will be 2020! Cheers to all and may the force be with you!
Picked up two postcards while working the Squaw Valley community for the US Census Bureau recently and now they will be sent off to their individual destinations, addresses courtesy of Postcrossing.com. One to Germany and the other to Watsonville here in California, not far from my home. They will begin their journeys tomorrow (Monday the 12th) and I will post the images and an update when they are received.
I checked my box and found a postcard. It is my second from the land down-under! A beautiful and very big place that I have not yet had the opportunity to visit. A land of wonder and mystery. See the image below.

I very much enjoy receiving postcards or anything else in my PO Box. I am currently at 60 cards received, 62 sent. I surely hope more are on their way! Join Postcrossing.com today!
I also like to collect fortune cookie fortunes. You know, those small strips of paper found inside the American-invented sugar cookies found at many Chinese eateries, such as Panda Express. If you do not want them, please send some my way, the fortunes that is. You can keep the cookie.

So, it has been awhile, but I received a postcard from Italy today! I check my PO Box several times a week and always hope something cool or new is in there. Frequently, all too often, it is empty though and I am sad about that. Could you please fill my box with joy? Or money? Money would be great!
Statistics wise, I am currently at 62 cards sent, 59 received. I am looking forward to seeing more cards in my box and evening up the score.
Anyways, back to the card. I think this is my first from Italy. The writer says this is her first since the country reopened from lockdown. Says she lives in Udine. Can you find it on this map on the card? I did. Hope you enjoy this postcard as much as I did. Here it is.

Yes, I checked my P.O. Box today and found several items in it. One was a postcard. From Germany. It is wonderful getting cards from strangers. You should join Postcrossing. It is free, fun, and fantastic! The other items were of no consequence to this post.
I currently have two cards in transit, one to Germany, one to somewhere here in the USA.
Here is today’s card!

I will next check my box on Saturday, unless otherwise able. As it is, I am waiting on news of a certain job that I will begin within the coming week. A busy time for me. But I always have time for postcards from around the globe. Send more my way! Use Postcrossing and have fun!
